  • 18km MMAS 8 plus Team TT State Championship

  • 18km U17 M Team TT State Championship

  • 18km U17 W Team TT State Championship

  • 72km Solo TT Male and Female Open, 40-49, 50-59, 60 plus

  • 36km Solo TT Male and Female Open, 40-49, 50-59, 60 plus

  • 72km Elite Men’s and Elite Women’s TTT State Championship, MMAS 1-3, MMAS 4-5

  • 72km Team Cycling Challenge – 4-6 person teams with age/gender time handicap plus a category for bikes without time trial bars.

  • 36km MMAS 6-7, WMAS 1-3, WMAS 4 plus State Team Time Trial

  • 36km Team Cycling Challenge- 4-6 person teams with age/gender time handicap plus a category for bikes without time trial bars

Important COVID Information

The following practices are a must for all competitors and spectators:


  • Hygiene – everyone can slow the spread of COVID19 by washing their hands frequently and maintaining good personal hygiene practices.

  • Cover your coughs and sneezes and dispose of tissues properly (wash hands immediately afterwards).

  • Do not share water bottles.

  • Avoid touching your face.

  • DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE UNWELL or showing any signs of a cough or cold symptoms.

Change in regulations due to COVID19

  • Follow all instructions regarding parking and any other social distancing aspects that have been put into place.

  • If you are bringing spectators e.g. Mum, Dad, wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend, they are not able to be in the field of play area which includes Registration, Number Return, Bike Check and Start & Finish Area’s.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available.

  • Do not share drink bottles.

  • Bring your own pump and tools to reduce the need for shared equipment.

  • If shared equipment is used this must be disinfected before and after each use.

  • Any rollers / ergo’s must be spaced out at least 1.5m apart.

  • Registration will consist of collecting your Race Number and Transponder from the Registration Tent. It must be returned to a separate table after your ride (both will be clearly marked).

  • Any Numbers and / or Transponders not returned will be charge at $5 per number and $95 per transponder.

Road Conditions and Traffic Management


To ensure the safety of participants, and with the support of the Gold Coast City Council and Queensland Police, Currumbin Creek Road will be closed to traffic from the intersection of Fordyce Close (Crystal Cottage) to the end of the valley between 6.30am and 11.30am.

The rest of the course that includes Galleon Way and Currumbin Creek Road (to the Tomewin Mountain Road turn off) will remain open to traffic under changed traffic conditions. Traffic control will be in place at the Galleon Way-Currumbin Creek Road intersection and it would be advised to avoid travelling through this intersection if possible. Additional traffic control will also be in place at the start and finish of the event outside the Elanora Community Centre on Galleon Way. The speed limit on Currumbin Creek Road will be reduced to 60kph for the duration of the event.

Cyclists will be on the roads between 6.30am and 11.30am. Motorists intending to travel on Galleon Way or Currumbin Creek Road during this time are asked to remain aware of cyclists on the road.
